OABB Rocketry Project 2007-2008

In January we went on an outing to Lucerne Dry Lake

We got our newly built rockets ready for launch

This "Big Bertha" rocket had a successful launch and recovery

As did this member's rocket

After years of launching small rockets it is time to try something bigger

This is a higher powered rocket ("G" Engine) and the launch looks perfect

It is always fun to pull out past rockets and fly them again and again

This "puppy" is about 7 feet tall and very impressive

After a day of launching you use whatever is at hand - water bottles, tape, fins from a crashed rocket to see how well it will fly
